THE OPPORTUNITY

Our partner is a dynamic financial technology company, specializing in simplifying online payment processing for businesses of all sizes. They offer a comprehensive suite of payment solutions that enable businesses to accept various payment methods, customize their checkout experiences, and utilize robust fraud prevention tools.

They are currently looking to expand their team and hire a Bookkeeper with Xero expertise to manage financial records and ensure accuracy across accounts. This role requires strong attention to detail and a solid understanding of bookkeeping principles.

Key Responsibilities

Reconcile Xero bank accounts, ensuring accuracy in transactions.
General Xero file maintenance for both Pay entity Xero files.
Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
Assist with payroll processing and expense tracking.
Prepare financial reports, including profit & loss statements and balance sheets.
Ensure BAS/GST compliance and maintain up-to-date financial records.

Skills, Experience & Qualification

Have 1-3 years of experience in a similar role; experience working with an Australian company is a plus.
Proven bookkeeping experience with strong Xero proficiency.
Understanding of BAS, GST, and financial reporting.
Excellent attention to detail and time management.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
