Description
- Operates the control system of the terminal such as the Programmable Logic Control (PLC) necessary for cargo in loading and out loading operation
- Ensures that the procedures and guidelines in monitoring the terminal operations through the PLC control system conforms with the standards set to meet the company's objectives and priorities
- Performs minor troubleshooting and resetting of alarms in the PLC program and other devices during the operations in coordination with maintenance
- Reports to the supervisor/maintenance all noted alarms and troubles for proper disposition
- Monitors and keeps record of data pertaining to the performance and productivity of the terminal operations
- Performs other relevant functions as assigned by the immediate superior and management
- Performs other IT-related tasks assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or any related course
- Proven experience in troubleshooting computer hardware, software, and networks
- Basic Knowledge in Programmable Logic Control (PLC) system
