We are looking for a Human Resources Specialist to join our team! If you have a strong HR foundation with hands-on experience in recruitment, employee relations, and HR operations, but also enjoy strategic problem-solving and working closely with business leaders, this hybrid role is for you.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Operations & Specialist Functions:
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing candidates to onboarding, ensuring a seamless experience for both candidates and hiring managers. Work with business leaders to understand staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies.
Employee Records & Compliance: Maintain accurate, up-to-date employee records and ensure compliance with HR policies and labor laws. Assist in the preparation of reports for internal stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
Payroll & Timekeeping: Regularly process timekeeping data and assist with payroll, ensuring that all employee compensation and benefits are accurately tracked and paid on time.
HR Administration: Assist in HR administration, including preparing HR documentation, managing employee benefits programs, and handling employee queries regarding policies, procedures, and benefits.
HR Business Partnering:
Strategic HR Partnership: Collaborate closely with department heads and business leaders to align HR strategies with organizational goals. Provide HR guidance on talent management, workforce planning, and organizational development to enhance team performance.
Employee Development & Performance: Work with business leaders to design and implement employee development initiatives. Lead performance management processes, providing coaching and feedback to employees and managers to improve performance and career growth.
Employee Relations & Engagement: Act as a trusted advisor to both employees and managers, offering guidance on conflict resolution, employee engagement, and performance issues. Foster a positive work environment by developing initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction and retention.
HR Metrics & Reporting: Utilize HR analytics to assess workforce trends, employee engagement, and performance. Prepare regular reports and insights for senior leadership to inform decision-making.
Organizational Development: Support business leaders in driving change management initiatives and employee engagement programs. Help facilitate organizational development strategies that align with the company’s evolving needs.
Qualifications:
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR, CHRP) are a plus.
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in an HR role, with experience in both HR operations and strategic HR partnering.
At least 2-3 years of experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, and HR administration.
Proven experience in recruiting IT technical staff across various roles, including software developers, network engineers, systems administrators, and other technical positions. Familiarity with sourcing, screening, and interviewing IT professionals.
Experience working closely with leadership and managers to address HR needs and align HR strategies with business goals is highly desirable.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong understanding of HR functions including recruitment, compensation, benefits, performance management, and employee relations.
Expertise in recruiting technical talent, particularly IT staff, using both traditional and modern sourcing techniques (e.g., job boards, LinkedIn, specialized IT recruitment platforms).
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with various stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Proficiency in HR systems, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and HR analytics tools.
Ability to balance both strategic and tactical HR tasks and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
Work Arrangement: Must be amenable to working onsite.
