MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education
Graduate of BS Accountancy, Management Accounting, Financial Management or any related business course
Related Work Experience
At least three (3) years’ relevant accounting experience
Knowledge (knowledgeable in the following):
Above average knowledge on bank accounts reconciliation methods
Skills:
- Proficient in MS Excel and Formulas, Intermediate to Advance Skills is a plus
- With good leadership and organization skills
- With good analytical and decision-making skills
- Strong verbal and excellent communication and business writing skills, in both Tagalog and English
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare Reconciliation Reports: Generate and maintain reconciliation reports for bank reconciliation providing detailed explanations for any variances.
- Monitor Account Balances: Regularly monitor bank transactions ,ensuring balances are accurately reflected in the general ledger and that all transactions are posted correctly.
- Investigate and Resolve Discrepancies: Research and resolve discrepancies or unbalanced accounts in a timely manner, working closely with area offices and related units to gather necessary information.
- Audit Support: Assist with financial reporting section and internal audits by providing reconciliations, supporting documentation, and explanations related to bank accounts. Compliance: Ensure that all bank transactions and reconciliations comply with accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS) and internal policies.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline reconciliation processes and improve efficiency in tracking and reporting of bank balances.
- Maintain Records: Ensure proper documentation of all reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting materials.
