Educational Attainment Requirement :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts, Interior Design, Industrial Design, Architecture, or related field


Professional Background :

  • At least 3 years’ experience in visual merchandising, preferably in furniture or home décor sectors
  • At least 2 years in a supervisory or operations management role
  • Experience with lean manufacturing or production efficiency methods preferred


Competency Requirements: '

  • Strong understanding of furniture design, materials, and non-furniture product categories
  • Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and visual planning tools
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Planning, scheduling, and resource allocation skills
  • Familiarity with industry regulations and safety standards
  • Ability to analyze sales data and customer behavior Excellent creativity and design sense
  • Knowledge of current trends in retail visual merchandising Resource and logistics management
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Results-oriented
  • Acts with integrity
  • Good communication & interpersonal skills
  • Bias towards action, ability to do multitasking and work under pressure

  • Ability to drive process improvements and implement best practices


Responsibilities

  • Visual Merchandising Strategy & Implementation: Plans and executes visual merchandising concepts and displays that support the brand and improve customer experience.
  • Product Presentation & Display Management: Manages product layout, display updates, and visual tools to keep items attractive, organized, and appealing.
  • Quality Assurance & Control: Ensures products meet quality standards and addresses defects or issues through inspections and corrective actions.
  • Materials & Inventory Management: Coordinates materials, controls costs, manages inventory, and minimizes waste to support efficient production.
  • Training & Development: Trains staff on merchandising standards and stays updated on industry trends and best practices.
  • Client & Stakeholder Coordination: Works with internal teams and suppliers to align merchandising activities with business and sales goals.
  • Operational and Project Deployment Leadership: Oversees production and field operations to ensure efficient deployment and achievement of output targets.
  • Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) & Employee Well-being: Ensures safety compliance and promotes a safe working environment for employees.
  • Performance Management: Supports performance management programs and tracks progress of design and innovation initiatives.
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Monitors results, prepares reports, and recommends improvements based on performance data.
  • Other Responsibilities: Performs other tasks as assigned by management.
