Role: Senior Tax & Business Services Accountant

Work Arrangement: Work From Office

Location: Pampanga

Schedule: Morning Shift

• Preparation of financial statements, income tax returns, and other lodgements for companies, partnerships, trusts, and various individual businesses
• In-depth tax knowledge, including Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT), Personal Services Income (PSI), Payroll Tax, Depreciation and GST car limits, Capital Gains Tax (CGT), Division 7A, Small Business Entities (SBE), QBCC reporting, and Debt-Equity rules
• Preparation of tax returns using the latest Australian tax legislation for entities such as Partnerships, Discretionary Trusts, Unit Trusts, Sole Traders, Private Companies, and FBT returns
• Knowledge in preparing activity statements, quarterly superannuation reporting, trust minutes, company dividend statements, ASIC annual reporting, and TPAR reporting
• Advising clients on setting up and operating Xero data files, Xero Payroll, Auto Super, and lodging BAS

Requirements:

• A degree in Accounting or a related field with an accounting major

• CA or CPA qualified (or currently completing the program)

• At least 6–8 years of accounting and taxation experience within Australia

• Additional 2–3 years of SMSF experience is a plus (optional)

• In-depth understanding of Australian taxation legislation, including but not limited to GST, FBT, CGT, and Division 7A

• Xero Certification and Xero Payroll Certification required

• Experience with MYOB, Xero, Reckon, QuickBooks, Class, and FYI Docs is an advantage
