Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries in companion animals
• Perform medical and surgical procedures as needed
• Conduct wellness exams, vaccinations, and preventive care consultations
• Perform dental procedures
• Communicate effectively with pet owners and referring veterinarians
• Collaborate with hospital leadership to maintain high clinical standards
• Participate in continuing education, training, and professional development
• Manage time effectively in a busy clinical environment
• Contribute to a positive and supportive workplace culture

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution
• Eligible to obtain a Connecticut State Veterinary License
• 2+ years of clinical experience preferred (new graduates considered)
• Internship training is a plus but not required
• Strong diagnostic, surgical, and communication skills
