Job Summary:

The Procurement Specialist has the duty to source and purchase goods coming from suppliers who can meet the needs of the business. Establishing partnerships with suppliers, ensuring adherence to business policies and industry standards, and guaranteeing the highest quality products at the lowest possible prices are all part of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow up with the supplier from the previous day's request (e.g., ice, vegetables, and gas).
• Purchase dry goods at the request of Logistics.
• Communicate with the supplier regarding the follow-up or other concerns.
• Check all store requests for next-day delivery.
• Purchase orders before 3 p.m., as it is the cutoff period.
• Conduct a weekly report on vegetables price.
• In every transaction, ensure to ask for a price quotation.
• For guaranteed cost efficiency and good value in order to obtain the best bargain, price comparison is necessary.
• Track all the purchase orders once the goods are bought in order to ensure the needs of the business are met.
• Month end inventory.

Required Qualifications:

• College degree in any business-related course
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Procurement Specialist
• Experience in material sourcing both local and international
• Excellent communication and interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Knowledge in food cost computation, analysis and control
• Willing to work flexible hours
• Detail oriented with excellent analytical and numerical skills
• Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data
• Experience in chain and restaurant group setting is a plus
