Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced IBM Mainframe & Sterling Integration Specialist with strong expertise in IBM Sterling (SI/SFG), end-to-end file transfer, business process development, and IBM DB2 to drive enterprise integration solutions.

Key Responsibilities

* Design and implement end-to-end file transfer solutions using IBM Sterling (SI/SFG)

* Develop and manage business processes (BPML) and partner integrations

* Enable secure file transfers (SFTP, FTPS, AS2, HTTPS)

* Build and maintain high-volume, reliable integration workflows

* Work across mainframe systems and enterprise integrations

* Optimize DB2 performance, queries, and database design

* Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve integration/file transfer issues

* Collaborate with client stakeholders and provide technical leadership

Required Skills

* IBM Sterling Integrator (SI) / File Gateway (SFG)

* BPML (Business Process Modeling Language)

* End-to-end file transfer & B2B integration

* IBM DB2 (z/OS or LUW)

* IBM Mainframe basics (z/OS, JCL)

* Integration & Security

* Messaging concepts (MQ/JMS as preferred)

* API integration (REST/SOAP exposure)

* Data formats: XML, JSON, EDI (X12/EDIFACT)

* Secure protocols: SFTP, FTPS, AS2, encryption & certificates

Good to Have

* IBM MQ / ACE / Integration Bus

* DevOps / CI-CD exposure

* Monitoring tools (Splunk, AppDynamics)

* Banking/financial domain experience

Experience

* 8-12+ years overall IT experience

* 5+ years hands-on IBM Sterling (SI/SFG)
