ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced Backend Developer with 6+ years of professional experience specializing in Node.js and MongoDB. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain secure, highly scalable, and robust server-side applications and RESTful APIs that power our digital product ecosystem.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Architecture & Development: Architect, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Node.js applications and backend systems using Express, NestJS, or Fastify.

* Database Management: Design, implement, and optimize complex MongoDB schemas, aggregations, indexing strategies, and ensure optimal database performance.

* API Design: Architect and maintain secure, RESTful APIs or GraphQL services, ensuring seamless integration with frontend applications.

* Performance Tuning: Identify bottlenecks and optimize data queries, server execution time, and memory consumption. Implement caching layers (e.g., Redis).

* Security & Compliance: Integrate data protection and security solutions (JWT, OAuth, input validation, encryption).

* Code Quality & Testing: Write comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using tools like Jest, Mocha, or Chai. Participate in code reviews.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

* Experience: Minimum 6+ years of core backend engineering experience with Node.js and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.

* Database Expertise: Deep expertise in MongoDB, indexing, sharding principles, and ODM frameworks like Mongoose.

* System Architecture: Strong understanding of asynchronous programming, Event Loop, microservices architecture, and event-driven architectures.

* DevOps: Experience with Git, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
