Structural Engineer – Papua New Guinea (FIFO from Philippines)

Tabubil Engineering Limited (TE) is hiring an experienced Structural Engineer to join our team in Tabubil, Western Province, PNG. We deliver engineering and construction services to Ok Tedi Mining and other major clients across the Fly River region.

What you'll do

– Design and check structural elements for industrial, mining, and civil infrastructure projects

– Produce calculations, drawings, and design reports to AS/NZS standards

– Support site teams with construction issues, RFIs, and design modifications

– Liaise with clients, fabricators, and project managers

What you'll need

– BS Civil Engineering (PRC-licensed Civil Engineer preferred)

– Min. 5 years' structural design experience, ideally in mining, heavy industry, or remote infrastructure

– Proficient in STAAD.Pro, SpaceGass, or equivalent; AutoCAD

– Working knowledge of AS/NZS 1170, AS 3600, AS 4100 (or willingness to upskill)

– Strong written English; able to work in a multicultural site environment
