Mechanical Engineer – Papua New Guinea (FIFO from Philippines)

Tabubil Engineering Limited (TE) is hiring an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Tabubil, Western Province, PNG. We deliver engineering and construction services to Ok Tedi Mining and other major clients across the Fly River region.

What you'll do

– Design and review mechanical systems including piping, pumps, conveyors, HVAC, and fixed/rotating plant

– Produce calculations, drawings, specifications, and design reports to AS/NZS standards

– Support site teams with installation, commissioning, maintenance issues, and RFIs

– Liaise with clients, fabricators, and project managers across the project lifecycle

What you'll need

– BS Mechanical Engineering (PRC-licensed Mechanical Engineer preferred)

– Min. 5 years' mechanical design or site experience, ideally in mining, heavy industry, or remote infrastructure

– Proficient in AutoCAD, Inventor or SolidWorks, and standard mechanical analysis tools

– Working knowledge of AS 1210, AS 4041, AS 1657, and AS/NZS 1200 (or willingness to upskill)

– Strong written English; able to work in a multicultural site environment
