Position: Manager – Accounts Payable (Payments)

Arbeit Group is currently supporting one of our clients in hiring a Manager – Accounts Payable (Payments) to lead end‑to‑end AP operations, payment execution, and vendor management within a dynamic and fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Accounts Payable (Payments) team to ensure smooth operations
• Oversee invoice processing and validation, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Manage payment execution (checks, transfers, ACH, wire), ensuring timely vendor payments
• Handle vendor inquiries and discrepancies, maintaining strong relationships
• Supervise AP reconciliations and resolve variances proactively
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards
• Prepare AP reports and analysis for management insights
• Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Finance (or related field)
• Have experience in an insurance company
• Strong experience in Accounts Payable and payment processes
• Experience using SAP or AP systems is a plus
• Good understanding of accounting procedures and financial controls
• Advanced MS Excel skills (Pivot, VLOOKUP, reporting)
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills
• Able to lead a team and work independently
