We are looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to join Lamaia Lounge Bar & Restaurant, a premium dining and lounge concept located in Libreville, Gabon.

The ideal candidate must be fluent in French, have strong leadership skills, and be able to manage daily restaurant operations with professionalism and excellence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant (service, bar, kitchen coordination).
• Ensure excellent customer service and maintain Lamaia’s high-quality standards.
• Manage, train, and supervise staff members (servers, bartenders, host, runners).
• Create weekly schedules, manage attendance, and ensure smooth workflow.
• Monitor inventory, stock levels, and coordinate with suppliers.
• Handle customer feedback and resolve issues with professionalism.
• Control hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards (HACCP).
• Ensure proper cash handling and coordinate with the POS system.
• Work closely with the owner to implement improvements and maintain performance.
• Assist in events, special nights, and promotional activities.

Requirements

• Fluent in French (mandatory).
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Restaurant Manager or Assistant Manager.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team-management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with customer service and guest relations.
• Good understanding of restaurant operations, stock control, and scheduling.
• Professional attitude, punctuality, and strong work ethic.
• Knowledge of English is a plus.
