Electrical Engineer – Papua New Guinea (FIFO from Philippines)


Tabubil Engineering Limited (TE) is hiring an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in Tabubil, Western Province, PNG. We deliver engineering and construction services to Ok Tedi Mining and other major clients across the Fly River region.


What you'll do

– Design and review LV/HV electrical systems for industrial, mining, and civil infrastructure projects

– Produce calculations, single-line diagrams, schematics, and design reports to AS/NZS standards

– Support site teams with installation, commissioning, fault-finding, and RFIs

– Liaise with clients, contractors, and project managers on power, lighting, and control system design


What you'll need

– BS Electrical Engineering (PRC-licensed Electrical Engineer preferred)

– Min. 5 years' electrical design experience, ideally in mining, heavy industry, or remote infrastructure

– Proficient in AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP or SKM, and standard power system analysis tools

– Working knowledge of AS/NZS 3000, AS/NZS 3008, and AS/NZS 3007 (or willingness to upskill)

– Strong written English; able to work in a multicultural site environment
