Position Overview:

We are looking for a Game Data Analyst to turn player and product data into actionable insights. You will build dashboards, monitor key KPIs, and support user acquisition and game optimization. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will ensure data accuracy, detect risks early, and uncover growth opportunities to drive engagement and revenue.

Job Responsibilities:

Game Data Analysis & Insights

·       Analyze player behavior and product data in depth

·       Build dashboards to support game development and optimization

User Acquisition & Funnel Optimization

·       Monitor and analyze UA campaigns, revenue metrics, and in-game behavior

·       Deliver actionable insights and recommendations to drive user growth and retention

Real-Time KPI Monitoring & Risk Alerts

·       Track key game KPIs on a daily basis

·       Detect anomalies promptly and provide feasible solutions

Data Quality & Integrity Maintenance

·       Collaborate with product, tech, and operations teams

·       Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and traceability

Growth Opportunity Discovery

·       Conduct player value analysis to uncover potential growth levers

·       Support long-term game operation strategy.

Position Requirements:

·        Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree or above (including bachelor’s); 3+ years of data analysis experience. Background in gaming, blockchain, finance, or Web3 preferred. UA (user acquisition) analysis experience is a plus.

·        Technical Skills: Proficient in SQL, experienced with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI), familiar with database systems and event tracking design. Able to independently perform data cleaning, modeling, and KPI building.

·        Analytical Thinking: Strong data sensitivity, capable of extracting insights from complex data and translating them into actionable strategies.

·        Industry Passion: Passionate about gaming or interested in digital assets, finance, or Web3. Able to think from the player/user perspective.

·        Cross-functional Collaboration: Excellent communication skills, capable of working closely with product, operations, marketing, and engineering teams.

·        Language Skills: Fluent in both Chinese and English, with the ability to produce high-quality reports and communicate findings clearly.

Bonus points if you also have:

1.      Experience with Python or R for advanced modeling and automation

2.      Familiarity with A/B test design and analysis

3.      Understanding of game operation cycles and player behavior models
