Position: Manager – General Accounting (RTR / Close & Control)

Arbeit Group is currently supporting one of our clients in hiring a Manager – General Accounting (Record to Report) to oversee financial reporting, reconciliation, and accounting operations within a fast‑paced enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end‑to‑end RTR (Record to Report) processes, including financial closing and reporting
• Oversee journal entries preparation and posting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards
• Manage general ledger reconciliations and resolve discrepancies proactively
• Deliver accurate and timely financial reports for management decision‑making
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors, ensuring smooth audit processes
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, GAAP/IFRS standards, and internal controls
• Drive process improvements and efficiency initiatives in accounting operations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Finance (CPA or CA is a plus)
• Have experience in an insurance company
• Strong experience in Record to Report (RTR), closing, and reconciliation processes
• Good understanding of GAAP / IFRS and accounting procedures
• Experience using accounting systems (SAP, Blackline, or similar tools)
• Advanced MS Excel skills (Pivot, VLOOKUP, reporting)
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
• Able to work independently and manage cross‑functional stakeholders
