Key Responsibilities:

• Billing & Claims Resolution: Research and resolve patient billing inquiries, claims denials, and coding questions.
• Insurance Verification: Verify patient eligibility and benefits, and clearly explain patient financial responsibility (copays, deductibles).
• HIPAA Compliance: Maintain strict confidentiality of Protected Health Information (PHI) in every interaction.
• Documentation: Accurately log all patient interactions and resolutions within the Electronic Health Record (EHR) or billing system.
• Payment Processing: Process patient payments and set up financial payment plans.
• Service Excellence: Provide compassionate, professional support to ensure high patient satisfaction.

Required Skills:

• 1+ year experience in a medical office, hospital, or billing call center.
• Proficient knowledge of medical terminology and the claims lifecycle.
• Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems.
• Exceptional communication and empathy.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with healthcare regulations.
